Joey started his financial planning career in 2018 after completed his studies at LSU where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business management. He works with families to help support them in planning for retirement, wealth and legacy. Over the years, Joey has developed both experience and a passion for working with families in the chemical and industrial plant industry, inspired by his father, who dedicated nearly 40 years to working tirelessly in a chemical plant.

While Joey enjoys living in Louisiana, where he tends to his garden and raises his Doberman puppy, Lexi, he also loves to travel. He finds inspiration in new cultures, cuisines and ways of living. As an avid cook and wine sommelier, he dreams of visiting the hillsides of Italy and the islands of Japan.

Joey is especially fond of taking in scenic mountain views, whether he’s backpacking or snowboarding. He finds peace in the solitude of nature, and on the trail, life quickly simplifies: the focus is solely on waking up, walking, eating and reaching the next campsite.

One of his favorite backpacking trips was in the Lost Creek Wilderness in Colorado, where he hiked 33 miles, covering elevations between 8,800 to 12,000 feet across a diverse landscape that included mountain valleys, marshes and summits. This hike stood out to him due to the diverse wildlife he encountered, including elk, moose, red squirrels and even a chipmunk that made off with his shoelaces one night.

Throughout all of Joey’s travels, he seeks adventure, continually pushing himself and testing his limits in nature. He believes the greatest outdoor experiences always come with a little challenge.
